Captain Chemo - One of our heroes!!

Captain Chemo comes in many forms, pills and capsules take by mouth, medicine to go in veins, medicine to go in the area around the spinal cord, and sometimes medicine that has to be given as a shot (but not very often).

There are lots and lots of different names for Captain Chemo and whole books are written about the different kinds. Terrill the Tyrant is very, very fast and grows quickly making more and more of himself. Most of the kids of Captain Chemo have to work very fast as well. Here's one of the problems though - because Captain Chemo works so fast he also has some side effects - he hurts some good cells that also grow fast. The good cells that he attacks (he doesn't mean too) are the cells that make your blood, your mouth and stomach lining, and your hair. Just remember when Captain Chemo does those things he also is attacking the very bad Terrill.
